CARS AND MOTORBIKES
Cars and motorbikes should follow directions towards Catton Park (DE12 8LL) until you see our festival event road signage. From there, turn off your sat nav and follow the AA routing signs. Please do not follow your sat nav when approaching the festival site due to another very narrow bridge in Walton-upon-Trent.
An additional width restriction has been placed on the Chetwynd Bridge (A38 junction with the A513 for Rugeley/Tamworth/Alrewas). This junction and bridge remains our primary route for cars but prevents access for campervans and caravans. This year there are also multiple scheduled roadworks taking place in the area which may delay your journey, so please plan ahead.
Ingress from the North: Follow the M1 Southbound and exit onto the A38 at Junction 28, heading West for Burton / Birmingham. Exit at the Alrewas / Rugely / Tamworth A513 turnoff. Follow the signs to the festival. DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV
Ingress from the West or South (a): From the M5 (from the West) or the M40 (from London ), take the M42 Northbound. Between Junctions 8 and 9 take the M6 toll road and exit at T4 onto the A38 Northbound. Exit at the Alrewas / Rugely / Tamworth A513 turnoff. Follow the signs to the festival. DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV
Ingress from the South (b): Take the M1 from London , and exit at Junction 24, following the A50 to Stoke. After a few miles you will exit onto the A38 to Burton. Exit at the Alrewas / Rugely / Tamworth A513 turnoff. Follow the signs to the festival. DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV
CAMPERVANS / CARAVANS
The new width restriction on Chetwynd Bridge (A38 junction with the A513 for Rugeley/Tamworth/Alrewas) means that crossing in live-in vehicles will not be possible nor permitted, this is with no exceptions and will be enforced throughout the days of Bloodstock from 7th to 12th August 2024.
If your normal routing to the event brings you via the A38, you must only exit onto the A5121 and follow bloodstock signage to the event. DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV when approaching the festival site.
